Of all the many gifts my Dad gave me over the years, the most precious was the gift of photography. He gave me my first camera and taught me how to capture the personality of even the ugliest bug. When I was a kid, he taught me to walk through the woods without scaring off the birds and animals so we could get as close as possible to wildlife. “Heal, toe, heel, toe, heel...don't shuffle your feet!
My photographs have been published in magazines & newspapers all across the country. I’ve won contests and awards throughout the years. But my favorite accomplishment is working as a photographer for the Port Aransas South Jetty newspaper. A picture says a thousand words.
I never know what photograph will hit my fancy. Some are wildlife, some that make you say hmmmmm, and some that just are numerous. Enjoy!
